Au Pair Ren has added a new profile signal: au pair candidates can choose their destination country or region, and mark whether they are already there.
家庭浏览人选时，也可以先选择申请国家，再勾选“已在申请国家/地区”。这对想找本地人选、短期沟通、上门语言陪伴或外教式文化交流的家庭，会更直接。
Host families can now filter by destination and then select “Already there.” This is useful when a family wants someone local, available for quicker communication, short-notice language support, or in-person cultural exchange.
这个标记是申请人自我填写的资料信号，不等于平台已经核验其签证、居留许可或工作资格。联系前，双方仍然需要确认所在城市、可安排时间，以及当地政策要求。

在中国读书的国际学生，需要注意什么？
如果申请人已经在中国读书，想做校外勤工助学、实习或类似安排，不能只靠家庭和学生私下约定。核心步骤通常是：先联系学校国际学生办公室或留学生管理部门，确认学校是否同意；再按当地公安机关出入境管理机构要求，申请在学习类居留证件上加注勤工助学或实习的地点、期限等信息。
For international students already studying in China, off-campus work-study, internships, or similar arrangements cannot be based only on a private agreement between the student and the family. The usual first step is to contact the school’s international student office, confirm whether the school agrees, and then follow the local exit-entry authority’s requirements to add the work-study or internship annotation to the study residence permit.
《中华人民共和国外国人入境出境管理条例》第二十二条写明：持学习类居留证件的外国人需要在校外勤工助学或者实习的，应当经所在学校同意后，向公安机关出入境管理机构申请居留证件加注；未加注前，不得在校外勤工助学或者实习。
Article 22 of the Exit and Entry Administration Regulations states that a foreigner holding a study residence permit who needs to take off-campus work-study or internship must first obtain school approval and then apply to the exit-entry authority for the relevant annotation. Before that annotation is added, off-campus work-study or internship is not allowed.
教育部办公厅等四部门发布的《高等学校国际学生勤工助学管理办法》也强调，国际学生勤工助学是在学校组织和管理下，利用课余时间取得合法报酬的实践活动。不同学校、城市和个案的材料要求可能不同，所以不要跳过学校和出入境窗口。
The Ministry of Education and other authorities also issued rules for international student work-study in higher education. These rules place work-study under school organization and management, during spare time, with lawful remuneration. Requirements may differ by school, city, and case, so the school and the local exit-entry office should not be skipped.
