We are a loving and welcoming family of four: two caring parents, a mature 13-year-old elder sister, and a lovely 5-year-old little brother. As a fully English-speaking family with extensive overseas study and life experience, we embrace cross-cultural diversity with an open, tolerant and respectful mindset. We fully understand the cultural differences and living habits of international young people, and can provide you with a comfortable, barrier-free and inclusive living atmosphere.
Both parents work in higher education: my husband is a university professor and I am a university administrative staff member. We reside on a quiet, safe and picturesque university campus with a superior humanistic environment, tight security and a pure and friendly community atmosphere. This ideal living environment allows you to live, relax and explore in absolute safety throughout your au pair stay.
We are an experienced and professional host family with rich au pair hosting experience. We have successfully hosted two Icelandic au pairs before, and we built deep, warm and long-lasting family bonds with them. We never regard au pairs as workers, but treat you as an indispensable part of our family
