Dear [Host Family],
My name is Shante Kendi.I'm 17 years old and excited about the possibility of becoming an au pair in your family. I'm currently finishing my Abitur (European Baccalaureate).
I live in the south of Germany in a small village near the Lake of Constance with my mother, father, younger sister and younger brother.
I am looking forward to experiencing new cultures, countries and languages. Especially China, which has fascinated me since I was small.
I would describe myself as an open, curious, determined, responsible and fun person. I like working with children and have already gained experience through siblings and various other ways.
I love spending time outdoors (e.g. going swimming in the lake) and I am always ready to learn something new.
One of my main reasons I want to become an Au-pair is because it offers so much more than traditional traveling (like cultural immersion).
I am ready to support your family with daily routines, playtime, learning activities and everything I can do. I understand that trust, patience and communication are very important when living together and I will try to do my best to be respectful and reliable for your standards.
