Dear Host Family,
My name is ilan, and I’m a 24-year-old young man from a city called San Nicolás de Los Arroyos, Buenos Aires province, Argentina. I live in South America, where Spanish is the main language, and I would be happy to share my language and culture with your family. In Latin America, every country has its own traditions and way of life, and I believe it would be a wonderful opportunity for your family to learn about that through me.
I’m very curious about the world and love learning about new cultures, languages, and ways of living. That’s why I decided to become an AuPair — I see it as a chance not only to help a family, but also to experience life in another country and grow as a person. I’m excited to discover China, learn your language, and better understand your culture through everyday life together.
Spanish is my native language, and I can also speak some English. I’m currently practicing to improve my English every day, and I’m also very interested in learning Chinese and Korean. I believe that language is one of the best ways to connect with people.
I would describe myself as a calm and patient person, sometimes a bit introverted at first, but once I get comfortable, I’m open and friendly. I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing sports, and staying active. I used to skateboard, ride my bike, and run around the city. Nowadays, I usually exercise at home, and I still like playing football, basketball, and volleyball.
I hope to become part of a kind family that values cultural exchange and mutual respect. I’m ready to share my culture, help where I can, and learn from you in return.
