Taking care of my sister whist my mother works long hours growing up, Teaching her to read and write, babysitting, helping with school work etc. I have also babysitted countless times for my younger cousins and family friends doing babysitting work and helping them with homework. I have helped a foreign family who used to live next door teach their child English whist also doing some paid babysitting work for them.

My name is Jake, I’m 19 years old and based in the UK. I’ve always had a natural connection with children and have gained plenty of childcare experience over the years through babysitting and helping take care of younger family members and friends’ children. I’m responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy creating a safe and fun environment for kids to grow, learn, and express themselves.

I’ve always dreamed of experiencing life in another country and immersing myself in different cultures. Being an au pair feels like the perfect opportunity to do something meaningful while forming real connections and learning from a new environment. I’m especially interested in learning new languages, trying local foods, and becoming part of a family’s everyday life.
