Dear Host Family,

My name is Danny, I am 26 years old and I come from Russia. I am writing to express my strong interest in joining your Au Pair program in China.

I have always been passionate about exploring new cultures and connecting with people from different backgrounds. China, with its deep history, vibrant traditions, and growing global role, is a country I’ve long wanted to experience more closely. Becoming an Au Pair feels like a meaningful and natural step for me — a chance to both give and grow.

I have a solid background working with children. I’ve worked as a children’s basketball coach in Russia, a teacher at English camps across Thailand, and also as a babysitter for a Vietnamese family. These experiences have taught me to be patient, creative, and responsible — all of which I believe are key qualities when caring for children.

I hold a secondary professional education and speak intermediate English. While I haven’t started studying Chinese yet, I’m very motivated to begin learning during my stay. I see this opportunity not only as a cultural exchange, but also as a chance to build new language skills that will benefit me in the future.

Outside of childcare, I’m happy to help with light housework and day-to-day routines. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and doing video editing. I hope to share my interests with your family — maybe even teach your children some basic basketball skills or creative activities.
