I have two nephews and a niece, all of whom I’ve known since birth, and we are very close. I regularly babysit them when they’re not in daycare, and we love drawing, playing dress-up, and spending time outdoors. They’re incredibly creative and curious about everything. Children are truly a wonder to me, and I always enjoy my time with them!

Dear Host Family,

Hi, my name is Anna! I grew up abroad, spending part of my childhood in China and later in America, which is why I speak English very well. I’ve always loved traveling and experiencing new cultures, so stepping out of my comfort zone is something I’m quite familiar with. I’m very adaptable and open-minded, and I would be thrilled to explore China with my host family!

I have a lot of experience caring for children - I have two nephews and a niece who I’ve known since birth, and we’re really close. I regularly babysit them and we love drawing, playing dress-up, and spending time outdoors together. While I’m always playful and creative with them, I can also be strict when needed. I believe in balance, and I’m confident I can create a positive, fun environment while helping with their daily routine.

This opportunity would also be a chance for me to improve my knowledge of Chinese and learn more about the culture and household life in China. I’m excited to experience the customs and way of life in your home.

I’d love to share my hobbies with your children, including drawing, music, and reading. I’ve even published two illustration books and have an idea for creating a children’s book as a special gift for my host family. It would be an incredibly rewarding experience for me as an artist, and a wonderful memory of our time spent together.

I can also cook meals from my home country, which could be a fun way to share a little bit of my culture with your family.
