Dear host family, my name is Emily and I am from Pennsylvania in the United States. I studied biology at university and chose Chinese as my minor. After about five years of Chinese study, I would like more practice using the language in everyday life. I have worked as a biology tutor and at a library desk, and I enjoy helping teenagers understand new ideas. Music, theatre, reading and hiking are some of my favourite ways to spend time. I would be happy to share English conversation, books, museum visits and outdoor activities with your children during a stay of three to six months. My experience is mainly with teenagers, so I would like to talk through your children's ages, routines and the support you need before we make an arrangement.
