Dear host family, my name is Clara and I am from Germany. I enjoyed a six-month au pair stay in Nanjing, where I cared for two girls aged three and five and took Chinese classes. Our days included games, crafts, music and meeting their friends. I play the saxophone and recorder and like finding ways for children to join in through songs and simple rhythms. I have also helped at a music school, a holiday camp and a craft workshop. I grew up enjoying time outdoors and would be happy to share walks, swimming and creative activities with your children. I would like to spend about six months with a family in China, share German and English, continue learning Mandarin and agree on routines that work for everyone.
