Dear future host family, my name is Elise and I am from Brittany in France. I am a university student studying Chinese culture and have learned Mandarin for several years. Helping care for my two younger sisters has given me experience of playing, learning and sharing everyday life with children. For my first au pair placement, I would like to be an encouraging older-sister figure, share French and English, help with homework and join your family's activities. I hope to improve my Chinese through daily conversation and learn about your family and culture during a stay of about three months.
