I am a curious and active person who genuinely enjoys learning and discovering new things.

Languages are one of my biggest interests. I love learning how people communicate, how culture influences language, and how different expressions can reveal so much about a country. I am especially interested in improving my French and Mandarin, while also continuing to learn about Japanese.

I also enjoy reading, photography, art, movies, music, and pop culture. I have studied professional photography, so I particularly enjoy observing details, capturing meaningful moments, and exploring creativity through images.

Outdoor activities are also an important part of my life. I enjoy hiking, walking, exploring nature, exercising, discovering new places, and spending time outside whenever possible.

I am very interested in cultural exchange and international experiences. I enjoy learning about traditions, food, history, everyday customs, and different ways of life. China is a country I am especially interested in, both personally and academically, and I enjoy continuing to learn more about its culture and society.

I also enjoy cooking and trying new food, and I would be happy to share Mexican dishes and traditions with my host family while learning their favorite recipes in return.

I have certified First Aid training, which has taught me how to respond calmly and responsibly in emergency situations.

I have also completed studies in Professional Photography, giving me experience with visual composition, creativity, attention to detail, and artistic projects. I especially enjoy using photography as a creative activity and would be happy to share this interest with children through simple and age-appropriate projects.

While I do not have extensive formal experience as a professional nanny or au pair, caring for children has always been a natural part of my life.

During university, I participated in a homework club where I worked with children, helping them with their school assignments and teaching them English through simple lessons and activities. I really enjoyed finding different ways to explain things, encouraging them when they struggled, and seeing their confidence grow as they learned something new.

I am also the oldest in a large family, so I have spent many years helping to care for younger family members. Looking after children, keeping them company, helping with meals or homework, and making sure they are safe and comfortable has always been something very familiar to me.

I genuinely enjoy being around children. I am patient, responsible, and comfortable taking care of them, but I also enjoy talking with them, answering their questions, teaching them new things, and learning about their individual personalities and interests.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Mexico and have also completed studies in Professional Photography, which strengthened my interest in art, creativity, and visual communication.

I am currently pursuing an online Master’s Degree in Economy and Society of China and Latin America, with a focus on understanding Chinese society, economy, culture, and its relationship with Latin America. The program is fully remote, allowing me to continue my studies while living abroad.

I have professional experience in both public and private organizations, mainly in administrative, organizational, and communication-focused roles.

I previously worked in a government legal office, where I supported administrative processes, document organization, case-related paperwork, and daily office operations. This experience taught me the importance of responsibility, confidentiality, attention to detail, and working within a structured environment.

I also worked in a private company in an administrative and scheduling role, helping coordinate appointments, organize agendas, communicate with clients, and support everyday office activities. This strengthened my organizational skills, time management, and ability to communicate clearly with different people.

My most recent experience has been as a Bilingual English-Spanish Interpreter. In this role, I help Spanish-speaking individuals communicate effectively when they are unable to express themselves confidently in English. I have assisted people in different situations by listening carefully, explaining information clearly, and making sure both sides understand each other.

This work has been especially meaningful to me because I genuinely enjoy helping people feel heard, understood, and supported. It has strengthened my patience, empathy, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and helpful in situations where clear communication is very important.

Hello! My name is Pam and I am from Mexico. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and learn a little more about me.

I am looking for much more than simply an opportunity to live abroad. I would love to become part of a family, experience everyday life in China, build a meaningful relationship with the children, and create a genuine cultural exchange where we can all learn something from each other.

China has a very special place among my interests. I have already had the opportunity to spend approximately one month there, so I am not completely unfamiliar with Chinese daily life, customs, food, transportation, and cultural differences. That experience made me even more curious about the country and helped me develop a greater cultural awareness. I understand that adapting to another culture means observing, listening, respecting family customs, and being flexible rather than expecting everything to work the way it does at home.

My connection with China is also academic. I am currently pursuing a fully online Master’s degree in Economy and Society of China and Latin America. Through my studies, I continue learning about Chinese society, culture, economy, development, and its relationship with my own region of the world. Because my degree is completely remote, I can continue studying while living abroad. For me, being in China would make what I am learning even more meaningful.
